COURSE DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the course is to promote a functional approach and assessment of the educational context, based on their previous knowledge and experiences from the critical perspective of the student, (through the study of various pedagogical approaches) that allows, through various research techniques , such as the bibliographical review and the observation that contrast the theory with the practice developed in the different approaches of the educational system.
Students apply the grammatical and lexical contents necessary to communicate in different basic situations of daily life.

OBJETIVOS
General objective:
• Improve the use of the English language as a communicative vehicle and as a work and research tool to function in bilingual environments.
• Specific objectives:
• Increase the ability to syntactically analyze the English language from a functional approach.
• Learn to use linguistic analysis tools.
• Efficiently manage support and consultation material to obtain better specialized information.

EVALUACIÓN
EVALUATION:
- Each week a lesson will be presented on the virtual platform.
- Each lesson will have a corresponding assignment.
- The lessons and assignments can be viewed on the platform on Saturdays respectively.
- Assignments will have 7 business days to be delivered on the platform.
- Each assignment will have a value of 20 points, representing 60%, and the final test will has a value of 30% of the final grade.
- The punctuality in the delivery of assignments will have a value of 10%, making a total of 100%.
- If the student exceeds the stipulated delivery time, they will get less points in their grades.
